An older male, aged around 70 at the time of recording, talks about he was a "globetrotter" in his early years. During the 1920's, he spent many years traveling around America without paying any fare until being caught at the age of 18 and fined for .80 cents.  He goes on to talk about how he sung a song to amuse the judge in lieu of paying the fine. This was recorded in 2007.

 

Rosa Lee Pruit was born Sept 5 1938.  She was born on Tangier Island and worked on the Eastern Shore.  She isn’t married and was only married for 1.5 months.  Areas of Residence outside of representative region for longer than 6 months: Onacock which is the Eastern Shore, but close.
